Separate Areas of the Garden

Separate Areas of the Garden

One of the most useful functions that decorative fences can perform – aside from looking good of course, is to ‘cut the garden up’, separate it into different sections. This can make the garden feel like a number of different rooms – or different gardens anyway.

This means that you can add all sorts of different ideas, different functionality, into the same garden. You are not forced to follow just one plan but are free to come up with a number of ideas and methods for decorating the garden.

Ideas for Separate Areas for the Garden

So if you were to split your garden into a number of areas by using decorative fences what sort of areas could you create? Let’s take a quick look at some of the most popular.

  • A flower section. We all love flowers, and wandering along some of our favourite flowers can put even the grumpiest of us in a good mood – which is why a flower section can be perfect for many people, somewhere to grow, tend and admire their favourite blooms.
  • A seating area. Often used in conjunction with other areas – seating area gives you somewhere to sit and relax, perhaps read, in the tranquillity that your garden can offer. Also great for sunbathing.
  • A vegetable area. Many of us like the idea of a vegetable patch but don’t like how they look. By using the decorative fences to keep it out of sight of the rest of the garden we can enjoy a vegetable patch without ruining the look of the garden.
  • A play area. Anyone with kids knows how much they love playing in the garden, using all sorts of things from balls to climbing frames. You can use decorative fences to give them their own section of the garden to be proud of.
